شب گزرنے میں وقت لگتا ہے
جوں بگڑنے میں وقت لگتا ہے
یوں سنورنے میں وقت لگتا ہے
آؤ رستے میں بات کرتے ہیں
بات کرنے میں وقت لگتا ہے
سرد راتیں طویل ہوتی ہیں
دن اترنے میں وقت لگتا ہے
میں اگر ایک بات کہہ دوں تو
پھر مکرنے میں وقت لگتا ہے
جب ابابیل گھر بناتی ہے
پھر بکھرنے میں وقت لگتا ہے
