یوم خواتین

رفیعہ شبنم عابدی

آج بھی کوئی کہیں گوش بر آواز نہ تھا

آج بھی چاروں طرف لوگ تھے اندھے بہرے

آج بھی میری ہر اک سوچ پہ بیٹھے پہرے

آج بھی تم مری ہر سانس کے مالک ٹھہرے

میرا گم نام سا کھویا سا یہ بے چین وجود

ایک پہچان کا صدیوں سے جو دیوانہ رہا

آج بھی اپنے سے بیگانہ رہا

اور جیا بھی تو جیا بن کے کسی کا سایہ

آج بھی مجھ سے مرا میں نہیں ملنے پایا

آج بھی میں نے خود اپنے سے ملاقات نہ کی

ایک پل ہی کو سہی

اپنے ہی دل سے مگر دل کی کوئی بات نہ کی

بیتی صدیوں کی طرح

آج بھی آج کا دن بیت گیا

aaj bhi koi kahin gosh-bar-awaz na tha
aaj bhi chaaron taraf log the andhe bahre
aaj bhi meri har ek soch pe baiThe pahre
aaj bhi tum meri har sans ke malik Thahre

mera gum-nam sa khoya sa ye bechain wajud
ek pahchan ka sadiyon se jo diwana raha
aaj bhi apne se begana raha
aur jiya bhi to jiya ban ke kisi ka saya
aaj bhi mujh se mera main nahin milne paya
aaj bhi main ne KHud apne se mulaqat na ki
ek pal hi ko sahi
apne hi dil se magar dil ki koi baat na ki
biti sadiyon ki tarah
aaj bhi aaj ka din bit gaya
