چہروں کی دھوپ آنکھوں کی گہرائی لے گیا

آئینہ سارے شہر کی بینائی لے گیا

ڈوبے ہوئے جہاز پہ کیا تبصرہ کریں

یہ حادثہ تو سوچ کی گہرائی لے گیا

حالانکہ بے زبان تھا لیکن عجیب تھا

جو شخص مجھ سے چھین کے گویائی لے گیا

میں آج اپنے گھر سے نکلنے نہ پاؤں گا

بس اک قمیص تھی جو مرا بھائی لے گیا

غالبؔ تمہارے واسطے اب کچھ نہیں رہا

گلیوں کے سارے سنگ تو سودائی لے گیا
