موت لمحے کی صدا زندگی عمروں کی پکار

میں یہی سوچ کے زندہ ہوں کہ مر جانا ہے

نشہ ایسا تھا کہ مے خانے کو دنیا سمجھا

ہوش آیا تو خیال آیا کہ گھر جانا ہے

مرے جذبے کی بڑی قدر ہے لوگوں میں مگر

میرے جذبے کو مرے ساتھ ہی مر جانا ہے
