سنو تو عارضۂ اختلاج رہنے دو

سکوں کے ٹھیک نہیں ہیں مزاج رہنے دو

بحکم شاہ تقاریب امن کل ہوں گے

شرر گزیدہ ہے ماحول آج رہنے دو

تم اپنی نبض کی رفتار پر نظر رکھو

خلاف گردش نو احتجاج رہنے دو

کسی کو سایہ کسی کو گل و ثمر دے گا

ہرا بھرا ہے درخت رواج رہنے دو

زمین فکر و ہنر بانجھ ہے ابھی راہیؔ

حصول داد وصول خراج رہنے دو

sukun ke Thik nahin hain mizaj rahne do

ba-hukm-e-shah taqarib-e-amn kal honge
sharar-gazida hai mahaul aaj rahne do

tum apni nabz ki raftar par nazar rakkho
KHilaf-e-gardish-e-nau-ehtijaj rahne do

kisi ko saya kisi ko gul-o-samar dega
hara bhara hai daraKHt-e-riwaj rahne do

zamin-e-fikr-o-hunar banjh hai abhi 'rahi'
husul-e-dad wasul-e-KHiraj rahne do
