راجیندر منچندا بانی

ایک بڑھیا شب گئے دہلیز پر بیٹھی ہوئی

تک رہی ہے اپنے اکلوتے جواں بچے کی راہ

سو چکا سارا محلہ اور گلی کے موڑ پر

بجھ چکا ہے لیمپ بھی

سرد تاریکی کھڑی ہے جیسے دیوار مہیب

بوڑھی ماں کے جسم کے اندر مگر

جگمگاتی ہیں ہزاروں مشعلیں

آنے والا لاکھ بے ہوشی کی حالت میں ہو

لیکن

راستہ گھر کا کبھی بھولا نہیں

اور بے آہٹ سڑک

جانتی ہے

کس کے قدموں سے ابھی محروم ہوں

ek buDhiya shab gae dahliz par baiThi hui
tak rahi hai apne iklaute jawan bachche ki rah
so chuka sara mohalla aur gali ke moD par
bujh chuka hai lamp bhi
sard tariki khaDi hai jaise diwar-e-muhib
buDhi man ke jism ke andar magar
jagmagati hain hazaron mishalen
aane wala lakh behoshi ki haalat mein ho
lekin
rasta ghar ka kabhi bhula nahin
aur be-ahaT saDak
jaanti hai
kis ke qadmon se abhi mahrum hun
