اپنے دیوان سے نکلا غالبؔ
پڑھ کے اشعار کہے یہ مومنؔ
اب تو ایمان سے نکلا غالبؔ
شہر دہلی ہو کہ دربار ظفرؔ
ہر جگہ شان سے نکلا غالبؔ
نکتہ چیں لوگ ہیں کچھ بھی کہہ لیں
اپنی پہچان سے نکلا غالبؔ
مشکل جاں سے ہی لڑتے لڑتے
ایک دن جان سے نکلا غالبؔ
برتری علم پہ غم کو دے کر
غم کے احسان سے نکلا غالبؔ
خدمت شعر و سخن کو راشدؔ
پورے جی جان سے نکلا غالبؔ

mushkil-e-jaan se hi laDte laDte
ek din jaan se nikla 'ghaalib'
bartari ilm pe gham ko de kar
gham ke ehsan se nikla 'ghaalib'
KHidmat-e-sher-o-suKHan ko 'rashid'
pure ji-jaan se nikla 'ghaalib'
