سعید الدین

دریا کچھ نہیں

اس کے جل کی مٹھاس کچھ نہیں

اس کی مچھلیاں اور اس کا بپھراؤ کچھ نہیں

میں جب ایک گاتا ہوا پتھر اس میں پھینکتا ہوں

تو دریا ایک گیت بن جاتا ہے

جو اپنے اتار چڑھاؤ اور بپھراؤ میں

زندگی سے کم پر شور نہیں

اور زندگی کا یہی شور دریا ہے

یہی مچھلی یہی مچھیرا

یہی میٹھا جل

اور یہی شاعری ہے

dariya kuchh nahin
us ke jal ki miThas kuchh nahin
us ki machhliyan aur us ka biphrao kuchh nahin
main jab ek gata hua patthar us mein phenkta hun
to dariya ek git ban jata hai
jo apne utar chaDhao aur biphrao mein
zindagi se kam pur-shor nahin
aur zindagi ka yahi shor dariya hai
yahi machhli yahi machhera
yahi miTha jal
aur yahi shairi hai
