قوت جسم و جاں یاد آئی
دل کی تاب و تواں یاد آئی
آج مجھے اک بات تمہاری
مجھ سے بھی پنہاں یاد آئی
کل تم حجرہ غم سے چلے
مجھ کو عمر رواں یاد آئی
بزم طرب میں بات خوشی کی
بن کر غم کا سماں یاد آئی
مجھ سے ہوا یہ کام بھی ورنہ
کس کو اپنی فغاں یاد آئی
اپنے جرم سیہ یاد آئے
تیری خوئے اماں یاد آئی
دل کے زخم ہوئے پھر تازہ
پھر وہ تیغ زباں یاد آئی
تیری شکایت تیرے منہ پر
کب کی بات کہاں یاد آئی

phir wo tegh-e-zaban yaad aai
