ٹوٹ جائے گا دل مرا ساقی

بھول جاؤں میں رنج و غم سارے

آج ایسا نشہ پلا ساقی

میکشوں سے حجاب کیا معنی

سامنے بے نقاب آ ساقی

آہ ماضی مرا حسیں ماضی

لوٹ کر اب نہ آئے گا ساقی

راز میری سیاہ بختی کا

کون جانے مرے سوا ساقی

دشت غم میں بھٹک گیا ہوں میں

راہ کوئی مجھے دکھا ساقی

دیر و کعبہ میں گھوم کر نیرؔ

تیری محفل میں آ گیا ساقی

TuT jaega dil mera saqi

bhul jaun main ranj-o-gham sare
aaj aisa nasha pila saqi

mai-kashon se hijab kya mani
samne be-naqab aa saqi

aah mazi mera hasin mazi
lauT kar ab na aaega saqi

raaz meri siyah-baKHti ka
kaun jaane mere siwa saqi

dasht-e-gham mein bhaTak gaya hun main
rah koi mujhe dikha saqi

dair-o-kaba mein ghum kar 'nayyar'
teri mahfil mein aa gaya saqi
