میرے

نگار خانے کی

بوسیدہ دیوار پر

مانوس

اجنبی کی وہ تصویر

میرے ماضی کو

جھنجھوڑتی ہے

جو

تصویر کی رنگینی میں دھلے

خالق و مخلوق کا

رشتہ پا کر

کاش

لب کشا ہو جائے

اور

میرے شہر خموشاں میں

بھنبھنا بھر دے

اور

پھر پہلے کی طرح

جھنجھناہٹ دے

تاکہ

اس سکوت میں

کچھ اور

افسانے پھیل جائیں
