تو وہ ہندوستاں میں لالا ہے

شاد لکھنوی

تو وہ ہندوستاں میں لالا ہے

جس کا داغی غلام لالا ہے

ہاتھ وحشت سے روک اے مجنوں

پاؤں پڑتا ہر ایک چھالا ہے

بے مے و نان ہوں میں وہ غیروں سے

ہم پیالہ ہے ہم نوالا ہے

دل ہر شیخ و برہمن ہے جدا

کہیں مسجد کہیں شوالا ہے

اس کے آنے سے تن میں جان آئی

دم آخر لیا سنبھالا ہے

چپ رہوں کیا میں صورت ناقوس

دل ہے شق جب لبوں پہ نالہ ہے

کیوں نہ سمرن پڑھے بشر اے شادؔ

آدمی ہڈیوں کا مالا ہے

tu wo hindostan mein lala hai
jis ka daghi ghulam lala hai

hath wahshat se rok ai majnun
panw paDta har ek chhaala hai

be-mai-o-nan hun main wo ghairon se
ham-piyala hai ham-niwala hai

dil-e-har-shaiKH-o-barhaman hai juda
kahin masjid kahin shiwala hai

us ke aane se tan mein jaan aai
dam-e-aKHir liya sambhaala hai

chup rahun kya main surat-e-naqus
dil hai shaq jab labon pe nala hai

kyun na simran paDhe bashar ai 'shad'
aadmi haDDiyon ka mala hai
