دشمنی لرزاں ہے یارو دوستی کے سامنے
تیرگی تھرا رہی ہے روشنی کے سامنے
قافلے والوں سے یہ منظر نہ دیکھا جائے گا
راہ بر ہیں سر بسجدہ گمرہی کے سامنے
روح تو تاریکیوں میں غرق ہو کر رہ گئی
جسم البتہ ہے اپنا روشنی کے سامنے
اک نظر بس آپ میرے سامنے آ جائیے
عمر بھر بیٹھا رہوں گا آپ ہی کے سامنے
تیرے دامن میں مہکتے ہیں ہزاروں گلستاں
اور تیرا ہاتھ پھیلا ہے کلی کے سامنے
زندگی میں بارہا ایسے بھی لمحے آئے ہیں
گفتگو شرما گئی ہے خامشی کے سامنے
جو اندھیرے میں مظالم توڑتے رہتے ہیں رازؔ
آ نہیں سکتے وہ ظالم روشنی کے سامنے

qafile walon se ye manzar na dekha jaega
rahbar hain sar ba-sajda gumrahi ke samne
ruh to tarikiyon mein gharq ho kar rah gai
jism albatta hai apna raushni ke samne
ek nazar bas aap mere samne aa jaiye
umr bhar baiTha rahunga aap hi ke samne
tere daman mein mahakte hain hazaron gulsitan
aur tera hath phaila hai kali ke samne
zindagi mein barha aise bhi lamhe aae hain
guftugu sharma gai hai KHamushi ke samne
jo andhere mein mazalim toDte rahte hain 'raaz'
aa nahin sakte wo zalim raushni ke samne
