تمہیں تم سے چرانے آ گئے ہیں

شاہانہ شیریں

تمہیں تم سے چرانے آ گئے ہیں

محبت کو بڑھانے آ گئے ہیں

ہنسی کو قید سے آزاد کر دو

یہ دیکھو مسکرانے آ گئے ہیں

ابھی تو ہم سے ملنے تم چلے آؤ

کہ اب موسم سہانے آ گئے ہیں

غزل لکھی ہے یادوں میں تمہاری

وہی شب بھر سنانے آ گئے ہیں

گلے شکوے بہت تھے درمیاں تو

کہ اب سارے مٹانے آ گئے ہیں

غموں کا بوجھ ہے سر پر تمہارے

ابد تک ہم اٹھانے آ گئے ہیں

کئی الفاظ سینے میں دبے تھے

سبھی تم کو بتانے آ گئے ہیں

محبت کے تقاضے دشمنوں میں

یہ شیریںؔ ہم نبھانے آ گئے ہیں

mohabbat ko baDhane aa gae hain

hansi ko qaid se aazad kar do
ye dekho muskurane aa gae hain

abhi to hum se milne tum chale aao
ki ab mausam suhane aa gae hain

ghazal likkhi hai yaadon mein tumhaari
wahi shab bhar sunane aa gae hain

gile-shikwe bahut the darmiyan to
ki ab sare miTane aa gae hain

ghamon ka bojh hai sar par tumhaare
abad tak hum uThane aa gae hain

kai alfaz sine mein dabe the
sabhi tum ko batane aa gae hain
