شیر سنگھ ناز دہلوی

وہ حد سے دور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

بڑے مغرور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

بسے ہیں جب سے وہ میری نظر میں

سراپا نور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

جو پھوٹے آبلے دل کی خلش سے

وہ اب ناسور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

بہت مشکل ہے منزل تک رسائی

وہ کوسوں دور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

کہاں پہلی سی راہ و رسم الفت

نئے دستور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

ہمارے داغ دل راہ طلب میں

چراغ طور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

خدا حافظ ہے اب بادہ کشوں کا

نشے میں چور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

پلا دے ساقیا بادہ کشوں کو

نشے کافور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

قریب دل وہ کیا اے نازؔ آئے

نظر سے دور ہوتے جا رہے ہیں

bahut mushkil hai manzil tak rasai
wo koson dur hote ja rahe hain

kahan pahli si rah-o-rasm-e-ulfat
nae dastur hote ja rahe hain

hamare dagh-e-dil rah-e-talab mein
charagh-e-tur hote ja rahe hain

KHuda-hafiz hai ab baada-kashon ka
nashe mein chur hote ja rahe hain

pila de saqiya baada-kashon ko
nashe kafur hote ja rahe hain

qarib-e-dil wo kya ai 'naz' aae
nazar se dur hote ja rahe hain
