شو شروع ہونے سے بہت پہلے
حال بھر چکا تھا
شیشے کے بڑے چیمبر میں
پانی بھر کر
بازی گر نے آخری ڈبکی لگائی
اور لوگوں نے دیکھا
اس کے ہاتھوں کی زنجیریں
مقفل تھیں
جنہیں وہ جان بوجھ کر
مقررہ وقت کے اندر
کھولنا بھول گیا تھا
اس کی بے جان کھلی آنکھوں میں
گذشتہ رات اس کی محبوبہ کے کہے ہوئے

kholna bhul gaya tha
us ki be-jaan khuli aankhon mein
guzashta raat us ki mahbuba ke kahe hue
