سہیل احمد
جیسے صحرا میں کوئی سلگتا بدن
آنکھ کی دھند کو
کچھ سرابوں کی منظر کشی کے حوالے کرے
تیز ہوتی ہوئی سانس
سر پر برستی ہوئی آگ سے
بے خبر
کچھ ہیولوں کا پیچھا کرے
تیز تر دوڑتی دھڑکنیں
آخری سانس کا نوحہ کہنے لگیں
اور وہ
آخری بوند کو
اپنے ہونٹوں پہ جمتی ہوئی
پیڑھیوں سے کھرچنے کی کوشش کرے
پھر کہے
یہ تو صحرا نہیں
بلکہ وہ آبشاروں پھلوں اور سبزے کی
خوش رنگ وادی میں ہے
اب اسے جیسے کوئی ریورسل کی چاہت نہیں

tez hoti hui sans
sar par barasti hui aag se

kuchh hayulon ka pichha kare
tez-tar dauDti dhaDkanen
aaKHiri sans ka nauha kahne lagin
aur wo
aaKHiri bund ko
apne honTon pe jamti hui
piDhiyon se khurachne ki koshish kare
phir kahe
ye to sahra nahin
balki wo aabshaaron phalon aur sabze ki
KHush-rang wadi mein hai
ab use jaise koi rewersal ki chahat nahin
