غم کے سانچے میں ڈھلتی رہی سونیاؔ

غم کے سانچے میں ڈھلتی رہی سونیاؔ
پھر بھی چپ چاپ چلتی رہی سونیاؔ
اپنے پرکھوں کی دہلیز پر رات دن
اک دیا بن کے جلتی رہی سونیاؔ
عزم و ہمت سے کانٹوں پہ چلتے ہوئے
اپنی قسمت بدلتی رہی سونیاؔ
ہار کر لوگ آگے نکلتے رہے
جیت کر ہاتھ ملتی رہی سونیاؔ
ہر قدم پر قدم ڈگمگاتے رہے
پھر بھی اکثر سنبھلتی رہی سونیاؔ

جس کے دل میں مچلتی رہی سونیاؔ

aks ka aks tha aks ke samne
jis ke dil mein machalti rahi 'soniya'
