خطا میں نے کوئی بھاری نہیں کی
امیر شہر سے یاری نہیں کی
مرے عیبوں کو گنوایا تو سب نے
کسی نے میری غم خواری نہیں کی
مرے شعروں میں کیا تاثیر ہوتی
کبھی میں نے اداکاری نہیں کی
کسی منصب کسی عہدے کی خاطر
کوئی تدبیر بازاری نہیں کی
بس اتنی بات پر دنیا خفا ہے
کہ میں نے تجھ سے غداری نہیں کی
