بکھرے ہوئے خیال سند ڈھونڈتے رہے
طلعت زہرا
بکھرے ہوئے خیال سند ڈھونڈتے رہے
راتوں میں ہم چراغ کی حد ڈھونڈتے رہے
دریا کے پار اتری تو منظر عجیب تھا
وہ جزر ہو چکے تھے جو مد ڈھونڈتے رہے
نیکی کہاں چھپی ہے کہاں پاکباز ہیں
کرنے کو ان کا خاتمہ بد ڈھونڈتے رہے
عزت کا جن کو پاس نہ حرمت کی کوئی قدر
شہرت کے واسطے مرا قد ڈھونڈتے رہے
دیتی رہی دعا انہیں زہرا کی آل ہوں
ضم ہو گئے جو نسلوں میں جد ڈھونڈتے رہے

wo jazr ho chuke the jo mad DhunDte rahe
neki kahan chhupi hai kahan pak-baz hain
karne ko un ka KHatma bad DhunDte rahe
izzat ka jin ko pas na hurmat ki koi qadr
shohrat ke waste mera qad DhunDte rahe
deti rahi dua unhen zahra ki aal hun
zam ho gae jo naslon mein jadd DhunDte rahe
