دھیان محل میں بھی جو گوری آنے سے شرمائے

درشن جل سے پھر کوئی کیسے نینن پیاس بجھائے

تاروں کی چلمن سے جھانکے پھولوں میں مسکائے

روپ نگر کی اس رانی کا گھونگھٹ کون اٹھائے

گورے مکھ پر کالی لٹ کچھ ایسی چھب دکھلائے

چاند پہ جیسے جھوم جھوم کر ناگ کوئی لہرائے

دودھیا ساری میں دمکے ہے یوں گوری کا روپ

جل دھارا کے نیچے جیسے کوئی آگ جلائے

چاند ہے جھومر تارے اس کی چولی کے ہیں پھول

گگن منڈل پر بیٹھی ہے وہ اپنی سیج بجائے

ہم ہیں دھرتی کے اندھیارے وہ آکاش کی جوت

اندھیارا جوتی سے آخر کیونکر نین ملائے

جنم جنم سے مدھر ملن کی آئی ہے یہی ریت

جان کرے جو ہنس کر ارپن درشن بھی وہی پائے

darshan-jal se phir koi kaise nainan-pyas bujhae

taron ki chilman se jhanke phulon mein muskae
rup nagar ki is rani ka ghunghaT kaun uThae

gore mukh par kali laT kuchh aisi chhab dikhlae
chand pe jaise jhum jhum kar nag koi lahrae

dudhiya sari mein damke hai yun gori ka rup
jal dhaara ke niche jaise koi aag jalae

chand hai jhumar tare us ki choli ke hain phul
gagan manDal par baiThi hai wo apni sej bajae

hum hain dharti ke andhiyare wo aakash ki jot
andhiyara joti se aaKHir kyunkar nain milae

janam janam se madhur milan ki aai hai yahi rit
jaan kare jo hans kar arpan darshan bhi wahi pae
