کسی منحوس لمحےمیں جب وہ رات یاد آتی ہے

چاند مجھ پر ہنستا ہے چاندنی مجھے رلاتی ہے

بہت افسردہ ہے کانٹے اس باغ کے

کیا وہ اب بھی مہکتی ہے کیا اسے اب بھی تیتلیاں ستاتی ہیں

ہایے یہ غم کے وہ زینت بسترے رقیب ہے

ہایے یہ غم کے میری ساتھ چلتی جاتی ہے

اس کو کانچ کی گڑیا کہتا تھا میں پتھر کا شہزادہ

سنا ہے اب کوئی گڑیا کہے تو وہ بہت برا مناتی ہے

غور نہیں کرتا خود پے اب ڈر لگتا ہے خود سے

جیسے تہذاب سے جلی لڑکی آئینے سے منہ چھپا تی ہے

زخموں کو ناسور کرنا پڑتا ہے خود کو نگلنا پڑتا ہے

یہ لفظوں کی بغاوت ہےشاعری یوں تو نہیں کی جاتی ہ
