بس ظرف ہے ہمارا کہ ہم نے گلہ نہیں کیا ہے

نہیں رہی ہے تمنا کہ اب کوئی بھی وفا کرے ہم سے

التجا یہ رہے گی کہ کوئی صدا محبت بھی نہ کرے ہم سے

سر پہ بیھٹایا تھا جنہیں انہی نے زمین پہ مارا ہے

ہم کیا کہیں کسی سے اپنی آنتریوں نے جلا ڈالا ہے

ایک بار نہیں بہت بار کسی نے دغا دیا ہے

بس ظرف ہے ہمارا ہم نے گلہ نہیں کیا ہے

رکھتے اگر ہم حساب ہر ظلم کا تو کہر پڑتا

پر یہ احساس دل بے حسی پہ کہا اترتا

آواز بھی آنی بہت بار رک جا یہ سراب ہے

ہم نے ہی کہا نہیں یہ تو اپنا احباب ہے

احساس جرم ہی تو ہوا ہم سے کہ جو اعتبار پھر کر لیا

رنج یہ ہے کہ ہم نے بار بار اور اس نے تار تار کر دیا
