آج پھر یونہی مجھے وہ بِیتے پل یاد آئے

وہ صبحیں، وہ شامیں، وہ گزرے کل یاد آئے

چہچہاتے، لہلہاتے مناظر، وہ موسم بہار کا

چمن میں مجھے وہ سب کھلے گل یاد آئے

اک روز اظہر عقیدت کیا تھا اس نے مجھ سے

آج پھر، انداز وہ اس کے مجھے بے مثل یاد آئے

بزم احباب وہ جو خوش رنگ سی سجتی تھی، اسکی

وہ رونکیں، وہ دل ربا گھڑیوں کے پل یاد آئے

دلوں کی بزم آرائیاں بھی عروج پہ رہتی تھیں

جڑے رہتے تھے جو، مجھے وہ دل یاد آئے

یاد جب بھی ماضی کی رنگینیوں کو کیا میں نے بیگؔ

تخیل میں دل کے پھر، وہ گزرے کل یاد آئے
