یہ جو ہم گردش ایام میں الجھے ہوئے ہیں

طے شدہ سے کسی الزام میں الجھے ہوئے ہیں

تجھکو لے جانی ہے جس سمت کہانی، لے جا

قصّہ گو، ہم تو ترے دام میں الجھے ہوئے ہیں

اور کچھ اپنے بیانوں کی وضاحت کر دے

ہم ترے لہجے کے ابہام میں الجھے ہوئے ہیں

اک تو کچھ فیصلے مشکل سے کئے تھے دل نے

وہ بھی اب عقل کے احکام میں الجھے ہوئے ہیں

جن کے انداز سے ظاہر تھی کبھی بےفکری

وہ بھی اندیشہُ انجام میں الجھے ہوئے ہیں

رکھ دیا تھا جو کبھی راہ جنوں میں نصرت

سارے صحرا اسی اک گام میں الجھے ہوئے ہیں
