یہ جو دن رات مجھ پہ طاری ہے

کیا یہی کیفیت تمہاری ہے

مسئلے آپ کے نئے تو نہیں

زندگی ہم نے بھی گزاری ہے

اپنی خواہش کی کب کوئی وقعت

ایسی قسمت کہاں ہماری ہے

تو بھی سود و زیان لے بیٹھا

ذہن تیرا بھی کاروباری ہے

جان مت مانگئیے مری مجھ سے

میری اپنی نہیں ادھاری ہے

آپ کو سینچنا تھا دل میرا

ہاتھ میں آپ ہی کے آری ہے

تو میری تیسری محبت تھی

اور ابھی سلسلہ یہ جاری ہے

خود بخود ہو نہیں گیا مجھ کو

میرا ہر عشق اختیاری ہے

اس کا اپنا قصور ہے فیصلؔ

کیوں وہ کالج میں سب سے پیاری ہے
