روئیں گے ہم ہزار بار، کوئی ہمیں ستائے کیوں

تم میرے ہو، یا میں تم ہوں، بیچ میں کچھ بھی نہیں

یہ مرشد، یہ تشنہ ہے، رات بھر یہ چھائے کیوں

بات کچھ بن نہ سکی ہے، چھپا ہے کیسے بولوں

یہ خاموشی چھپا ہے، ہم دل کو بہلائے کیوں

جو رات گزر گئی، وہ بات بھی ہو گئی گزر

دل پہ گزرے ہیں ہزار، یہ رات بھی گزرے کیوں

محبتوں کا ہر راز، دل کی زبان سے کہوں

یہ زمانے میں کیا رکا ہے، ہم دل بے حالے کیوں

میں نہ کہوں تو سن لے نا اے فیض

وہ نہ سمجھے تو میں اسے سنبھالے کیوں
