دردِ محبت کا مجھے ایک افسانہ لکھنا ہے

مجھے بھی، خود کو ایک دیوانہ لکھنا ہے

آنکھیں اس کی ہوں اور خواب ہوں میرے

مجھے بھی ایسا، ایک خواب پرانہ لکھنا ہے

وہ تھامے ہاتھ میرا اور میرے ساتھ چل دے

مجھے بھی ایسا، ہی ایک یار یراناں لکھنا ہے

ایک رات ہو لمبی، اور ایک ملاقات ہو لمبی

وہ بات کرے مجھ سے اور وہ بات ہو لمبی

وہ جو مانگے مجھ سے جان بھی میری تو

تو مجھے ایسی ہی، جان سے جانا لکھنا ہے

حسن مجھے بھی گزرا ایک زمانہ لکھنا ہے

ہر زمانے میں اس کا ساتھ نبھانہ لکھنا ہے
