دن اس طرح ہے کہ شب کی اخیر لگتا ہے

خلیل الر حمٰن ابراہیمی

دن اس طرح ہے کہ شب کی اخیرلگتاہے

سکوت شور شِ جاں کا اسیر لگتا ہے

ہنر تمام ہے نا کام, شہرِ دلبر میں

کمالِ زیست بھی ادنٰی حقیر لگتا ہے

تلاش کر نہ سکوں خودکو میں اکیلے میں

کہ رفتگاں کا وہ جَمِّ غفیر لگتا ہے

سبھی کواب سبھی سےڈرکا دھیان ہےیعنی

یہاں پہ جان کا جانا یسیر لگتا ہے

فراقِ جاں ہے کہ اب تو مقدّرِ عشاق

یہ وقت دردِ بتاں کا سفیر لگتا ہے

گنوا دیا ہے جنونِ نگارِ جاں میں سب

دلِ خلیل کہ پھر بھی امیر لگتا ہے
