خریدار ہوں، تُو بتا کیا بیچتا ہے

ما جد طاہر

خریدار ہوں، تُو بتا کیا بیچتا ہے

مفلس ہے؟ پردے میں حیا بیچتا ہے

بھلے حاکم سے قوم کی بیٹی لے لو

ہو طبیب تو دوا ہی میں وبا بیچتا ہے

جھرمٹ ہے درگاہ پہ کن مریدوں کا

یہاں فقیر بھی سیانا ہے دعا بیچتا ہے

مسجد کا ممبر بھی عجب منڈی ہے

کمال ادا ہے کہ مُلّا ہی خدا بیچتا ہے

اب جسم یہاں سَرِ بازار ہی بکتا ہے

ہو نَشَا ور تو بدن کے اعضاء بیچتا ہے

منصف سے بھی انصاف کا سودا ہو

یہاں قاضی تو ہر روز قَضا بیچتا ہے

فقط جسم نہیں روح کی بھی بولی دو

یہاں تو ہر شخص ہی اپنی وفا بیچتا ہے
