پہلے تو آتے ہوئے جانے کہاں رک گیا تھا

دلرُبا جب مرا آیا تو سماں رک گیا تھا

تیری موجودگی تو رونے کا باعث بنی تھی

تیرے جانے پہ مرا اشکِ رواں رک گیا تھا

تُو چلا ،ساتھ یہ دنیا بھی ترے چلنے لگی

تو رُکا ،تو جو جہاں بھی تھا وہاں رک گیا تھا

تیرے آنے سے بہاریں بھی مچلنے لگی تھی

تیرےآنے سے تو باغوںمیں خزاں رک گیا تھا

تمھاری وصل کی شب کے تو کئی معجزے ہیں

وقت جو رکتا نہیں ،یہ بھی یہاں رک گیا تھا
