پرانا زمانہ برا تو نہیں تھا
مرا یار مجھ سے جدا تو نہیں تھا
تسلسل شفا کا رکا تو نہیں تھا
کہ دل تب کسی کا دکھا تو نہیں تھا
محبت شروع کے دنوں میں الگ تھی
کہ تب دل سے کوئی مرا تو نہیں تھا
خیالوں میں جیتے شب و روز ہم سب
کہ تب راز جاں کا کھلا تو نہیں تھا
ہوا کیا جو ہے وہ خفا تجھ سے وارث
فقط بندہ تھا وہ،خدا تو نہیں تھا
