میسج پہ ہم نے بات کی پر کال تو نہیں

بس سُر ہی تو ملا لیے ہیں تال تو نہیں

میں ہنس رہا تھا دیکھ کر حیران ہو گیا

وہ دیکھنے کو آیا تھا بے حال تو نہیں

مانا کہ شہر خوب ہے لاہور بھی مگر

بس خوب ہی تو شہر ہے چکوال تو نہیں

پکڑے گئے ہو یار تو اب گھر بھی جاؤ نا

کھینچے گی تیرے کان ہی وہ کھال تو نہیں

کم ظرف ہم کو یاد بھی کرنے میں لگ گیا

گزرا ہے ایک ماہ جدا، سال تو نہیں

تم پر ابھی بھی جاں مری احسان ہے مرا

واپس کیا ہے مال ہی، پر شال تو نہیں

تو کیا ہوا ہے یار جو کھانے میں آ گیا؟

محبوب کا خلوص ہے یہ بال تو نہیں
