لب پہ آتا ہے مگر دل میں چھپا لیتا ہوں

کویؑ بھی شکوا کروں یہ انہیں منظور نہیں

وہ جو کہتے ہیں کہ بس اب تم بھی بدل جاوؑ گے

ہم تو جیسے بھی ہیں ایسے مگر مغرور نہیں

عادتیں انکے لیؑے اپنی بدل ڈالی ہیں

ہیں جو تھوڑے سے مگر اتنے بھی مجبور نہیں

بیچ کر حود کو زہیر بے سروسامانی میں

شکوے ان کے بھی وہی تھوڑے بھی مشکور نہیں

اک ذرا پاس تو آوؑ ہمیں دیکھو جاناں

نظر کے سامنے پاوؑ گے ذرا بھی دور نہیں

دیکھ کے رک نا پاوؑ گے میرے یہ حالات

مصا ؑبات گزار دیےاک زرا بھی چوْر نہیں
