میرے کمرے میں اک ایسی کھڑکی ہے

جو ان آنکھوں کے کھلنے پر کھلتی ہے

ایسے تیور دشمن ہی کے ہوتے ہیں

پتا کرو یہ لڑکی کس کی بیٹی ہے

رات کو اس جنگل میں رکنا ٹھیک نہیں

اس سے آگے تم لوگوں کی مرضی ہے

میں اس شہر کا چاند ہوں اور یہ جانتا ہوں

کون سی لڑکی کس کھڑکی میں بیٹھی ہے

جب تو شام کو گھر جائے تو پڑھ لینا

تیرے بستر پر اک چٹھی چھوڑی ہے

اس کی خاطر گھر سے باہر ٹھہرا ہوں

ورنہ علم ہے چابی گیٹ پہ رکھی ہے
