بول پڑتے ہیں ہم جو آگے سے

پیار بڑھتا ہے اس رویے سے

میں وہی ہوں یقیں کرو میرا

میں جو لگتا نہیں ہوں چہرے سے

ہم کو نیچے اتار لیں گے لوگ

عشق لٹکا رہے گا پنکھے سے

سارا کچھ لگ رہا ہے بے ترتیب

ایک شے آگے پیچھے ہونے سے

ویسے بھی کون سی زمینیں تھیں

میں بہت خوش ہوں عاق نامے سے

یہ محبت وہ گھاٹ ہے جس پر

داغ لگتے ہیں کپڑے دھونے سے
