بے مصرف بے حاصل دکھ

جینے کے نا قابل دکھ

خواب ستارے پلکوں پر

جھلمل جھلمل جھلمل دکھ

سکھ ہے اک گمنام افق

ناؤ سمندر ساحل دکھ

راہ کے سب دکھ جھیل کے جب

منزل آئے تو منزل دکھ

بوجھ سا میری راتوں پر

شعر کی صورت نازل دکھ

صحرا صدیاں جیون کی

اور یہ پل پل تل تل دکھ

مکتی بن کا برگد کرب

بھوگ نگر کا ساحل دکھ

سروم دکھم جیون سازؔ

دل میں دکھ ہے یا دل دکھ
