جو کچھ بھی یہ جہاں کی زمانے کی گھر کی ہے

روداد ایک لمحۂ وحشت اثر کی ہے

پھر دھڑکنوں میں گزرے ہوؤں کے قدم کی چاپ

سانسوں میں اک عجیب ہوا پھر ادھر کی ہے

پھر دور منظروں سے نظر کو ہے واسطہ

پھر ان دنوں فضا میں حکایت سفر کی ہے

پہلی کرن کی دھار سے کٹ جائیں گے یہ پر

اظہار کی اڑان فقط رات بھر کی ہے

ادراک کے یہ دکھ یہ عذاب آگہی کے دوست!

کس سے کہیں خطا نگہ خود نگر کی ہے

وہ ان کہی سی بات سخن کو جو پر کرے

سازؔ اپنی شاعری میں کمی اس کسر کی ہے
