اب کے موسم کا خواب لکھ دینا
ڈالی ڈالی گلاب لکھ دینا
ہم نے لکھا ہے چاند سا چہرہ
تم اسے ماہتاب لکھ دینا
خود کو لکھنا کہ پارسا ہوں میں
مجھ کو خانہ خراب لکھ دینا
زندگانی کے ہر ورق پڑھ کر
روز و شب کا حساب لکھ دینا
ارتقائی عروج کا حاصل
خانہ خانہ عتاب لکھ دینا
فکر و فن کے سفر پہ نکلا ہوں
اے خدا کامیاب لکھ دینا
جب بھی گزرو سراب سے نشترؔ
ہر قدم آب آب لکھ دینا

irtiqai uruj ka hasil
KHana KHana itab likh dena
fikr-o-fan ke safar pe nikla hun
ai KHuda kaamyab likh dena
jab bhi guzro sarab se 'nashtar'
har qadam aab aab likh dena
