پیڑ اُگتے تو کہیں پھل کہیں سایا جاتا
میں اگر اُس کا گریباں نہ پکڑتا تو مجھے
ٹھوکریں مار کے کچھ اور ستایا جاتا
سر پٹختی ھوئ ھر روز ھوا کا مطلب
وہ دِیا آپ نہ بجھتا تو بجھایا جاتا
آئنے تُو ہی بدل لیتا ھے آنکھیں اپنی
ورنہ جو اصل تھا وہ چہرہ دکھایا جاتا
دوستی اُس کی طبیعت میں نہیں تھی گوھر
ھاتھ کٹ جاتا اگر ھاتھ بڑھایا جاتا
