ایک محاذ سے لوٹ آئے ہیں اک میدان ابھی باقی ہے

شاید اس نے ہنسی ہنسی میں ترک وفا کا ذکر کیا ہو

یونہی سی اک خوش فہمی ہے اطمینان ابھی باقی ہے

راتیں اس کے ہجر میں اب بھی نزع کے عالم میں کٹتی ہیں

دل میں ویسی ہی وحشت ہے تن میں جان ابھی باقی ہے

بچپن کے اس گھر کے سارے کمرے ملیا میٹ ہوئے

جس میں ہم کھیلا کرتے تھے وہ دالان ابھی باقی ہے

دیئے منڈیر پہ رکھ آتے ہیں ہم ہر شام نہ جانے کیوں

شاید اس کے لوٹ آنے کا کچھ امکان ابھی باقی ہے

ایک عدالت اور ہے جس میں ہم تم اک دن حاضر ہوں گے

فیصلہ سن کر خوش مت ہونا اک میزان ابھی باقی ہے
