اختر بستوی

دیوار میں روزن تو ہوا کرتے ہیں لیکن

دل میں نہیں ہوتا کوئی اس دور میں روزن

پڑتی ہے نظر سب کی تماشوں پہ جہاں کے

رہتا ہے نگاہوں سے چھپا سینے کا درپن

دیتی ہے ہر اک چیز زمانے کی دکھائی

ہوتا نہیں خود اپنا ہی دیدار میسر

باہر کے مناظر میں ہیں الجھی ہوئی نظریں

آنکھوں سے ہیں اوجھل وہ نظارے جو ہیں اندر

diwar mein rauzan to hua karte hain lekin
dil mein nahin hota koi is daur mein rauzan
paDti hai nazar sab ki tamashon pe jahan ke
rahta hai nigahon se chhupa sine ka darpan
deti hai har ek chiz zamane ki dikhai
hota nahin KHud apna hi didar mayassar
bahar ke manazir mein hain uljhi hui nazren
aankhon se hain ojhal wo nazare jo hain andar
