محبت کی دنیا میں مشہور کر دوں

مری سادہ دل تجھ کو مغرور کر دوں

ترے دل کو ملنے کی خود آرزو ہو

تجھے اس قدر غم سے رنجور کر دوں

مجھے زندگی دور رکھتی ہے تجھ سے

جو تو پاس ہو تو اسے دور کر دوں

محبت کے اقرار سے شرم کب تک

کبھی سامنا ہو تو مجبور کر دوں

مرے دل میں ہے شعلۂ حسن رقصاں

میں چاہوں تو ہر ذرے کو طور کر دوں

یہ بے رنگیاں کب تک اے حسن رنگیں

ادھر آ تجھے عشق میں چور کر دوں

تو گر سامنے ہو تو میں بے خودی میں

ستاروں کو سجدے پہ مجبور کر دوں

سیہ خانۂ غم ہے ساقی زمانہ

بس اک جام اور نور ہی نور کر دوں

نہیں زندگی کو وفا ورنہ اخترؔ

محبت سے دنیا کو معمور کر دوں
