دل میرا مگر پہلو بدلتا ہی نہیں ہے

کب سے میں یہاں بت بنا بیٹھا ہوں سر راہ

بت ہے کہ شوالے سے نکلتا ہی نہیں ہے

سونے کی جگہ روز بدلتا ہوں میں لیکن

وہ خواب کسی طرح بدلتا ہی نہیں ہے

میں کھینچتا رہتا ہوں اسے دل سے شب و روز

وہ تیر مرے دل سے نکلتا ہی نہیں ہے
