جیتا ہے رومیؔ ہارا ہے رازیؔ

روشن ہے جام جمشید اب تک

شاہی نہیں ہے بہ شیشہ بازی

دل ہے مسلماں میرا نہ تیرا

تو بھی نمازی میں بھی نمازی

میں جانتا ہوں انجام اس کا

جس معرکے میں ملا ہوں غازی

ترکی بھی شیریں تازی بھی شیریں

حرف محبت ترکی نہ تازی

آزر کا پیشہ خارا تراشی

کار خلیلاں خارا گدازی

تو زندگی ہے پایندگی ہے

باقی ہے جو کچھ سب خاک بازی
