بس اک شب جو مری پہلو نشیں تھی
اشفاق حسین
بس اک شب جو مری پہلو نشیں تھی
وہ لڑکی فاحشہ ہرگز نہیں تھی
اسے درکار تھا رونے کو شانہ
مرے دل میں بھی کچھ خالی زمیں تھی
ہر اک عضو ِ بدن تھا لب بہ نغمہ
مثالی گفتگو وجد آفریں تھی
اْسی کے سائے میں تھا محو ِ آرام
کہ ہر اک سانس جس کی آتشیں تھی
بدن کے زاویے سب کہہ رہے تھے
وہ میری روح میں شامل کہیں تھی
سمٹ آئی تھیں اْس میں کتنی صدیاں
وہ اک لمحے کی ساتھی بہتریں تھی
گلابوں میں مہکتا وہ بدن تھا
ستاروں سے مزین وہ جبیں تھی
مسلسل سوچتے رہنا اب اشفاق
حسیں تھی اور وہ کتنی حسیں تھی؟
