اشفاق حسین

لوٹ بھی آئیں اگر اب

وہ شناسا لمحے

اور میں تجھ سے ملوں بھی

تو دبے لفظوں میں

پوچھیں گے سبھی

کن ستاروں کی گزر گاہ پہ تم پہلے پہل نکلے تھے

کون سی جھیل تھی وہ

جس میں تم پہلے پہل ڈوبے تھے

کون سے پیڑ تھے وہ

جن کے سایوں میں

محبت کے شگوفے پھوٹے

اتنے بدلے ہوئے حالات کے دوراہے پر

ان سوالوں کے جوابات میں کیسے دوں گا

اجنبی بن کے ملوں گا

تو کوئی پوچھ نہ لے

یہ جو آنکھوں میں

محبت کا رواں ہے دریا

اس کی کس موج سے

رشتہ ہے شناسائی کا

اس کو ڈر کیسا ہے رسوائی کا

اور اگر

تجھ سے نہ ملنے کی قسم کھاؤں

تو پھر

دل کی ہر رگ سے لہو ٹپکے گا تنہائی کا

میں سہے جاؤں گا یہ زخم شناسائی کا
