زندگی راستے بدل رہی ہے
اشفاق قلق
زندگی راستے بدل رہی ہے
موت بھی اپنی چال چل رہی ہے
یا الٰہی تعلقات کی خیر
دوستی حاشیے پہ چل رہی ہے
چاند مصروف ہے خلاؤں میں
روشنی ذائقے بدل رہی ہے
ہنس کے منظور کر لیا ہے مگر
بات اب بھی ذرا سی کھل رہی ہے
بے یقینی کی اک ردا اوڑھے
زندگی ساتھ ساتھ چل رہی ہے
بد گمانی کا احتمال تو ہے
شمع امید پھر بھی جل رہی ہے
بند مٹھی میں ریت کی مانند
زندگی اے قلقؔ پھسل رہی ہے

maut bhi apni chaal chal rahi hai
ya ilahi talluqat ki KHair
dosti hashiye pe chal rahi hai
chand masruf hai KHalaon mein
raushni zaiqe badal rahi hai
hans ke manzur kar liya hai magar
baat ab bhi zara si khal rahi hai
be-yaqini ki ek rida oDhe
zindagi sath sath chal rahi hai
bad-gumani ka ehtimal to hai
sham-e-umid phir bhi jal rahi hai
band muTThi mein ret ki manind
zindagi ai 'qalaq' phisal rahi hai
