سارے تعینات سے اک دن مفر ملے

افواہ کس نے ایسی اڑائی کہ شہر میں

ہر شخص بچ رہا ہے نہ اس سے نظر ملے

دشواریاں کچھ اور زیادہ ہی بڑھ گئیں

گھر سے چلے تو راہ میں اتنے شجر ملے

طے کرنا رہ گئی ہیں ابھی کتنی منزلیں

جو آگے جا چکے ہیں کچھ ان کی خبر ملے

ممکن ہے آڑے آئیں زمانہ شناسیاں

تم بھی ہماری راہ میں حائل اگر ملے

قضیہ ہو موسموں کا نہ دن کا نہ رات کا

اب کے اگر ملے بھی تو ایسا سفر ملے

لوگوں کو کیا پڑی تھی اٹھاتے اذیتیں

صحرا کی خاک چھانتے آشفتہ سر ملے
