اک روز میں نے اپنی مؤنث سے یہ کہا

بیگم مشاعرے کو میں آیا ہوں لوٹ کر

بولی کہ مال لوٹ کا جلدی سے دیجئے

تاکہ اسے پکاؤں ابھی پیس کوٹ کر

بیوی کی کور مغزی پہ بولا بگڑ کے میں

اے احمق الذی تو نہ شاعر کو ہوٹ کر

تو فخر جاہلاں ہے تجھے کیا بتاؤں میں

داد سخن سبھی نے مجھے دی ہے چھوٹ کر

بولی وہ سر کو پیٹ کے آنکھوں کو کر کے لال

بجلی گرے غضب کی ترے سر پہ ٹوٹ کر

فاقے پڑے ہیں گھر میں تجھے فخر داد ہے

اور اتنا کہہ کے رونے لگی پھوٹ پھوٹ کر

ek roz main ne apni muannas se ye kaha
begam mushaere ko main aaya hun luT kar

boli ki mal luT ka jaldi se dijiye
taki use pakaun abhi pis kuT kar

biwi ki kor-magzi pe bola bigaD ke main
ai ahmaqullazi tu na shaer ko huT kar

to faKHr-e-jahilan hai tujhe kya bataun main
dad-e-suKHan sabhi ne mujhe di hai chhuT kar

boli wo sar ko piT ke aaankhon ko kar ke lal
bijli gire ghazab ki tere sar pe TuT kar

faqe paDe hain ghar mein tujhe faKHr-e-dad hai
aur itna kah ke rone lagi phuT phuT kar
